About Us

Firstly I'd like to tell you a little about the Franz family who own the 500 year old Turnden Estate.

I'm Su, wife to Peter and mother to twins Karl and Kristie. Peter and Karl run the family business (nothing to do with horses).

Myself and my daughter Kristie are the horsey ones!

The home of Sensible Equestrian Services is a beautiful 80 acre estate, just outside the village of Cranbrook.

Turnden was first established 500 years ago and has been home to many families and animals in it's time.

As you drive through the gates of Turnden you can't help but be surprised by the openess and rural feel of the property, it's peacefullness and tranquility make it a wonderful setting for relaxation.
